SERVICES
Almost all European vehicles will have a documented service history that dictate the requirements at the designated service intervals and will notify the driver of a service due by illuminating a service light on the instrument cluster. An equation of distance travelled, running time and number of engine starts is calculated to provide this. Under no circumstances should this warning light be ignored. Pace Motors recommends an interim service to replace engine oil and filter and an examination of all the fluid levels, check brakes and lighting and reset tyre pressures to maintain engine life and vehicle safety standards. This is done at the client’s request and discretion. BRAKES The maintenance requirements of your braking system may not coincide with the vehicle service intervals, however, almost all European vehicles are equipped with sensors that will illuminate a warning light on the instrument cluster when they are close to the end of their service life. Usually around 1,000 km can be travelled after this light is illuminated before the vehicle will become unsafe to drive. We strongly recommend acting upon any warning light at the earliest possible time to avoid safety risks and excessive damage to your vehicle. A report on your brake components condition and an estimate of the remaining service life is supplied with every vehicle serviced. Pace Motors can provide a standard brake service using OEM (manufacturer approved) components, or an upgrade to a high grade imported rotor and pad package, delivering above average braking efficiency and usually expanding component life. Prices are available upon request for all brake servicing procedures and requirements. An engine’s timing belt maintains the synchronicity of the reciprocating parts and requires replacement within the manufactures designated intervals. Failure to comply with these intervals can result in catastrophic engine damage. Pace Motors insists on adhering to these intervals and will only use genuine replacement components for this procedure, being the toothed belt, the tensioner roller and the idler roller, regardless of their condition at that time. For example, Audi requires that these components are replaced every 4 years or 90,000 kilometres, which ever comes first with no exceptions.
We have a loan car available to select clients with an advanced booking for $30.00 per day all expenses covered. Of course an agreement is signed to protect Pace Motors from traffic infringements and insurance excesses should the vehicle be damaged or involved in a collision whilst in possession of the client. ![]()
